Exploring Hydrogen's Potential in Eco-Efficient Vehicles

4 min read
Saru and TP Eco Flash from the Temasek Polytechnic School of Engineering, Singapore believes in the potential of hydrogen to be a carbon-neutral source of energy.
Team Manager Sarbuland Khan grew up watching car TV shows and as a self-confessed ‘petrol head’ immersed himself in the world of V8 engines and Formula One racing. However, knowing the impact on climate change these energy sources have , he and his team chose hydrogen to power their Shell Eco-marathon vehicle because of it’s potential to be 100% carbon-neutral.
Saru shares real-world examples that demonstrate this potential of hydrogen in the future of mobility including He imagines a world of hydrogen-powered vehicles, such as buses to replace less efficient motorbikes in densely populated cities across Asia like Vietnam to reduce mass pollution
He and his team are passionately their generation should make a stand and work to be part of the solution to climate change.
