Meet the Taq Balam Team from Guatemala
Taq Balam are the first Guatemalan team to participate in Shell Eco-marathon and have the ambitious goal of achieving a 2,500 km/gal efficiency with their ethanol prototype vehicle.
This hard working, diverse group of students are from Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering backgrounds. The team strives to promote new technologies in Guatemala and to show everyone what their home country is able to accomplish!
