Meet the TP Eco Flash Team from Singapore
TP Eco Flash from Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore is exceptional team comprising students from different backgrounds in clean energy, electronics and mechatronics.
For this team, Shell Eco-marathon is a significant opportunity that allows people to learn more about future technology and sustainability.
Despite the challenge of lack of manpower due to the outbreak of Nipah virus that caused participants to withdraw from the team, they managed to clinch the first place at Shel Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific and the Middle East 2023. This victory is their proudest moment in their Shell Eco-Marathon journey.
With innovation a cornerstone in their Shell Eco-marathon journey, the team showcase their impressive purge-free fuel cell system, originally developed in 2020 and is designed to recycle purged water and hydrogen, redirecting the hydrogen back into the fuel cell to enhance vehicle efficiency. In doing so, they hope to find ways to optimise technology and integrate carbon-free energy sources into our everyday lives.
The team look forward to observing and learning from the competing teams and their vehicles at the World Championship.
