From July 3 – 6, 2022, the second of two back-to-back mini events took place at Circuit Paul Armagnac in Nogaro, France. This time, teams in the Prototype Battery Electric category pushed the limits of energy efficiency!

Shell Eco-marathon France II also hosted the Autonomous Urban Concept Competition, which is currently only open to Europe and Africa teams in 2022. The specific set of rules for this competition are available on the Global Rules page.

eams participating in the mileage challenge had the chance to compete for some exciting prizes on the track and enter selected Off-Track Awards categories available. Each of the two mini events awarded its own Off-Track Award winners!

1st place: ECO-DIMONI from Instituto de Educación Secundaria Cotes Baixes, Spain | Best result: 935.21 km/kWh

2nd place: Team Zero C from Istituto Tecnico Industriale Leonardo da Vinci, Italy | Best result: 817.82 km/kWh

3rd place: AUGUSTINE from Lycée Léonard de Vinci, France | Best result: 747.87 km/kWh

Autonomous Urban Concept

1st place: DTU Road Runners from Technical University of Denmark, Denmark | Score: 97.6

2nd place: SZEnergy Team from Szechenyi Istvan University, Hunagry | Score: 69.0

3rd place: DNV Fuel Fighter from Norwegian University of Science And Technology, Norway | Score: 34.3
