Meet Lisa and her team, Escuderia Shell Borregos CCM. These students from Mexico have previously won Shell Eco-marathon’s Carbon Footprint Reduction Award and now want to take their learnings a step further by creating a circular economy with their vehicle.

By switching the materials they use on their car to more local, accessible and even recycled sources, as well as optimizing how they manufacture parts, they are able to further minimize their carbon footprint and improve the performance of their vehicle.

When I think about the future, the problem might be big, but…I believe we can work towards a better future.
