Introducing Arjuna UI Team whose mission in and out of the Shell Eco-marathon competition is to innovate towards a sustainable, clean energy future that combats climate change, especially against pressing challenges in Jakarta’s transportation sector.
Hailing from Universitas Indonesia, Arjuna UI Team is a group of dedicated individuals whose collaborative spirit enabled them to overcome challenges in the competition such as limited resources and intricate technical issues. As a team that thrives on diversity and members bringing varied skill sets to the table, it’s no wonder that they were able to secure one of the top spots in the Shell Eco-marathon regionals. According to the team, joining Shell Eco-marathon is important for them, as part of a generation that’s gearing up to be future leaders.
The team’s culture of innovation shines as they draw from experience in last season’s competition. At the World Championship, they are bringing in drivetrain innovation; the changes they’ve made in this area have been pivotal for them and gave them their ticket to the World Championship.
Proudly representing the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East region, the team are excited to compete against the best teams at the finals, hoping to engage in fruitful conversations with them, build relationships and take learnings and inspiration on how to further innovate, with the ultimate aim of minimising carbon emissions.
