About this series

At the heart of the competition is a challenge with long-lasting implications for us all: How can we travel the farthest using as little energy as possible? Tasked with creating a vehicle that can test this theory and change how we see and understand mobility, students embark on a journey that will push their design, technology, and engineering skills to the limit both on and off the track.

Shell Eco-marathon embodies the spirit of young changemakers who demonstrate innovation, perseverance, and collaboration.

Shell Eco-marathon teams from around the globe came together at the World Championship 2023 in Bangalore, India from October 10 – 12, 2023. Whilst these young STEM students may come from different countries, cultures, and educational curriculums, they all share a common goal, to create a more energy-efficient future.
